This past weekend I went to Oklahoma City with some friends to see a concert. Lindsey, Shelby, Tara, Kelly, and I all left Saturday morning for our weekend getaway. We drove to Tulsa and ate at the yummy Cheesecake Factory. We couldn't leave without a slice of cheesecake, I got Oreo which was very good. After we ate, we drove to OKC. We arrived and checked in at our hotel which was in Bricktown about 2 blocks away from the Ford Center, which is where the concert was. The concert was called Winter Jam and featured several christian artists such as: Revive, Sidewalk Prophets, Robert Pierre, FireFlight, Newsong, Newboys, Tenth Avenue North, and Third Day. It was a great concert!

On Sunday, we drove to the OKC Memorial. This memorial is to honor those who died in the federal building bombing on April 19, 1995. At the time, this was the worst act of violence on American soil. Now, the twin towers is the worst. It was my second time to go and I saw some different things this time than I did the first time. Below are some pictures of the memorial.

What you see when you enter the outside portion of the memorial
These chairs represent the people who died in the bombing of the federal building, the smaller chairs represent the children who died.
